Have your say on devolution deal

Residents and businesses across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire have until 27 February to take part in a public consultation on the proposed devolution deal that, if progressed, will bring additional investment and decision-making powers to our region.

The Oh Yes! Net Zero Steering Group is keen that as many members as possible take the opportunity to shape the future of the region by responding to the consultation.

While the devolution proposal contains provisions relating specifically to Net Zero, the environment and climate change adaptation, it also presents many broader proposals for investment in areas including transport, housing and skills.

Oh Yes! Net Zero is a great example of how businesses and organisations can come together to create positive change.

We encourage all our members to take part in the devolution consultation to let political leaders know what matters most to you in determining our region’s future.

You can participate in the consultation both as a private resident of the region and as your organisation’s representative.

You can view the deal and respond to the consultation here.

More information is also available on Hull City Council’s website and on the East Riding of Yorkshire Council website.
